Benny Distefano tried to be a left-handed catcher in the major leagues. It didn't work out. 1986-1989 were great years to collect. So many memories.

rolando roomes now look at the background, that's dodger stadium give me a hell yeah because i was a kid dodger fan starting in 1983 when they beat the astros on kttv fox 11 by a score of 16-7 pedro guerrero does the forefinger salute to then wife denise oh the memories rj reynolds oh me oh my type in rj reynolds braves on the youtube let me tell you about that game, bases loaded squeeze was on and he made it happen, such a very memorable game why? because hardly any dodger home games were on local tv (kttv fox 11) and i didn't have cable due to being a poor kid and i remember that game a lot especially when claudell washington lost the ball fighting the sun and ball bounced off the wall prior benny distefano last left handed catcher but he was a backup tony pena i remember him on the pirates in the 80s the way that he would crouch on certain pitches, one leg bent and the other one straight altee hammaker card 88 donruss background is dodger stadium again, his daughter is married to that indians catcher i forget his name and not sure if he's even on the indians anymore dennis martinez pitched a no hitter at dodger stadium sucked for me as a kid dodger fan lol mickey tettleton interesting pull, had a big year on baltimore orioles i remember, at least 40 homers but had a son who played qb i think for ohio bobcats few years ago eric davis always heard about him over the radio with vin scully who went to fremont high school rival to darryl strawberry high school of crenshaw high andres gallaraga 86 donruss rated rookie card, dodger stadium in the background again lol dickie thon got hit by the pitch in the eye one time by mike torrez, i remember it at the time without having to type anything in wikipedia although i must say i do like using wiki to reference many things that you mention that i never knew about, very interesting like mel hall in a previous video marty barrett i only read about recently few years ago about his relationship with bo sox organization, i didn't know it ended up bad like that tom browning 86 donruss card that's dodger stadium, many of these photographers lived near los angeles i guess, by the way he pitched a perfect game at riverfront stadium in 1988, the year the last time the dodgers won the world series larry sorenson card 86 fleer i think that background is dodger stadium too but not 100 percent sure because it might be shea stadium in new york? someone help me anyways matt baseball thank for all the memories, always like it when you open baseball card packs from the 80s and 1990 don't usually go past that but thanks again
