I know this a few years later. Just curious did you guys also cap off the coolant port coming from the pipe that’s below driver side head. Also the coolant port that throttle body connects to on the other side?

I was just thinking the same. Recently I just got boosted 6 intakes and their oiled filters. Not to soon after about a month my idle was getting rough. I wonder if the sensor got dirty already

I've tracked a tuned q50. Oil temps were fine. If that car is anything like the q50 brakes are gonna give out way before ur engine oil gets too hot. Even running insane boost the oil cooler is fine. The rest of my cooling system was upgraded which was way more important.

The oil cooler is more than fine for everyday hard driving including canyon runs even in California heat. You only need an oil cooler for hard track days.

While the stock oil cooler does perform well, we noticed that even after 10 minutes of spirited driving we were seeing oil temperatures over 265°. With higher oil temperatures, you get lower oil pressure. This product is about maintaining a cooler temperature, and therefore a higher oil pressure to improve the longevity of the motor.

@@Conceptzperformanceczp Yea. Cooling is generally an issue. I've had the car nerf power, like a couple times. I would say an upgraded cooler and oil cooler is needed for fun driving

I personally don't think this is necessary. My Q50 redsport takes forever for the oil to heat up to the proper temp and when it finally does, it maintains pretty well. The stock oil cooler fit the Redsport does a good enough job from my experience.

I wish you could of showed a little more on how you got access to the bracket bolts..I don't have a lift . Can't get to them. No leverage. Pissed off . Going to have to put it all back together and spend $590 on a shop..
