Hey 🌸 I’ve actually never experienced cracking before. But maybe you should make sure that your layer of joint compound is not too thick, I think that might be the cause of cracking

I think the best way to get to know what works for your face is to just play around with makeup on your off days, when you have no where to go (so that you don’t feel the pressure to do a perfect job😅). Eventually you’ll get the hang of it. Thank you for watching Ous Mahlodi 🥰🤍
