TOS lasted only 3 seasons. We will never know for sure what could have been in store with a 4th or a 5th one but I like to think that Roddenberry could have dig more in the Spoch-Uhura relationship. In the Man Trap Uhura try to start flirting with Spock and in Charlie X, well, the famous duet scene speaks for itself. It could have been a really interesting relationship but it will be forever just a big what if...

Slightly underrated, extremely sexy and highly efficient. She could be warm, caring, and lovely. Her voice was sweet and kind of magical. She could also be real bad news if you pissed her off. The story goes she wanted to quit because she was bored. MLK talked her out of it. In later episodes, it looked as if they were trying to find more stuff for her to do, hence the first interracial kiss. If Star Trek had continued on a year or two more; a relationship between her and Kirk would've been a great plot twist.
