I’ve been doing this for over 15 years! Clean them, put them in ice cold water until I’m finished, take them inside rinse them again, soak in ice cold salt water for 30 minutes, rinse all salt off, and finally put them in ice cold water and prepare the grease pat dry with paper towels and fry em up!

A lot of comments here claim these aren't large fish. I have been fortunate enough to chase pike all over canada and Alaska. Pike on video rarely seem as large as they do in person. Some of these fish are easily over 40 inches. I don't know about 5 fish at 30 lbs (those are truly large pike), but they caught a lot of nice fish. Great trip.

What set up were you using if I may ask? If I ever get to go elk hunting, I have a Bear X Trek 380, armed with 385grain bolts and 160grain fixed broadheads. Gal at the archery store who is an archer herself, said this setup would work well.

We don't have bears in the UK but we do have sheep most people eat lamb, that's baby sheep. Do you do the same with bear cubs

Awesome video. I literally have 7 Excalibur's lol. My hands down 2 favorites, are my Bulldog 400 & my tricked out Matrix 380. My Matrix 380 has a Trigger Tech trigger, DR Sturup Sturup, Dr Sturup DB Killer bumpers, DR Sturup Limb Savers & Excalibur Overwatch Scope. Absolutely awesome crossbows my other 5 Excalibur's are my Bulldog 380, Matrix 355, Micro Mag 340 Overwatch, Equinox, Exomax. I think Excalibur's are the most accurate, reliable crossbows made. The best lifetime warranty, & customer service in the industry.

I’ve done the same thing a couple of times. I have lived on Lake Nipigon for the past 51 years- my house is the closest residence to where the world record brookie was caught. have never seen a 10lb brookie.

Hello Mr. Winkelman i know this is a long shot but i was wondering if you had any footage of a hog hunt that my father took you on years ago in alabama. He passed away in 95 and has been deeply missed ever since. Any response would be greatly appreciated thatnks

Hello Mr. Winkelman i know this might be a long shot but i have to ask. My father passed away in 95. His name was Toady Hensley. I know he took you on a hog hunt with dogs before he passed and i was wondering if you had any footage of that hunt. It would be an amazing Christmas gift for me and my family. He was truly love by all and an amazing man inthe woods as well. Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
