Perfect Babe. A wonderful explanation. I cannot remember the source now but folks somewhere introduced baitfish into bodies of water to feed the "big fish" only to discover that the baitfish were better at feeding on zooplankton and the like, than "big fish" could and by consequence, the trophy fish actually diminished. Not a bad idea but it did not work out as planned. As many fishing ventures do. Argh.

Those Googan Squad guys do it to a pond every other week it seems, I don't know how many times I've seen them try to "improve" waterbodies only to seemingly never speak of them again. One of them just dumped a bunch of goldfish from amazon into a pond he made by damning a creek, now there's going to be coldfish in the creek and whatever river system it flows into.
