That`s a really beautiful place, Eric! I forgot it is New Years. i was wondering why it was so expensive in Chiang Mai. Ao Nang beach seams to be too much of a tourist trap in those days. I can remember the time I stayed in a very basic bungalow at Railay beach back in time in the 80s before Railay became a major tourist destination like it is now. Those are glorious memories. I don't know if I would like to go back, may be in off season. Yes, it must be really expensive now compared to Hua Hin and less touristic places in Thailand. Thank you Eric for taking us along. I love to get to see all those places through your eyes. Be safe and enjoy.

I don't think I've even been the first viewer on a video before. Do I get a prize? We loved our visit to Ao Nang but we were there in November. Not quite so pricey. We took a long tail boat to Railay Beach. They can be tricky for seniors. Ended up with a nasty fall and very sore leg but it was worth it. Such a beautiful spot.
