I see these planes taking-off and landing non-stop from the Toronto Island airport any given day. I think this type of plane, though old, is extremely safe and reliable.

Yeah that's a very cramped cabin. Maybe Delta is trying to configure the a321Neo to have a relatively similar Seat Count as the Boeing 757s since those are going to retire soon and there's nothing really to replace them.

Too tight. 199 seats. Notice how the 1st row of Coach is directly across from the last row of First Class. This plane also features the "Flex Lavs" in the galley. It is one lav and a half really, but can be opened up to accommodate those with mobility challenges. I really like Delta, but this new cabin configuration on this otherwise beautiful plane is a demonstration of capitalism at its worst. The plane operates at a comfortable profit with around 175 seats. We had 167 seats at USAir when we first received these 321 jets and operated them profitably, no problem. Not as profitably as this plane I'm sure, but profitably while offering our guests a nice experience. I would also recommend (as a flight attendant myself) customers wear pants and long sleeve linen, breathable clothes as, you noted, these planes are not really that clean sometimes and especially as the airlines keep cramming us in tighter and tighter pushing our bodies into each other and everything else around us. I wear comfortable, cool linen clothing when traveling even in Summer. Long pants, long sleeve shirts. In the Winter I simply wear a jacket over top. And bring a nice little blanket. I still love my airplanes but I can't help but be disappointed with these unnecessarily cramped cabins - even some of the First Class cabins are quite tight. Fun video and thanks for the ride-a-long.

Thanks for watching. This configuration is probably fine on shorter flights, but on 4+ hour flights it can be a pain.

Those seats too cramped. Good grief 5 hr flight sitting like that😱. See why it was one of the worst flights. Jetblue’s comfort seats extra legroom are very good plus comfortable seat. I drive from Maine to Logan just to fly Jetblue. Good filming👍

Good video. That was actually RWY 22 you landed on. You approached from the south, then when you flew by the airport to the north you were on a downwind to runway 22-04. Up over the Bronx you looped back south, turning base and final to line up with RWY 22. Most landings on RWY 31 follow the “Expressway” visual procedure, where you fly downwind to the east above the Long Island Expressway, then make a tight descending 180 over Flushing to the west and put down on the numbers seconds after rolling out. It’s a fun approach.

The reason it feels like you’re taxing faster than normal is because you’re closer to a reference point. If you were higher from the ground taxing the same speed it would feel slower.

Great video. I flew on JetBlue about a month ago in July and my only complaint about them is the poor snack choices. Personally, I preferred their popcorners and other previous snacks. Don't know when they decided to change to change their menu but other than that I had no issues and the customer service was great.

JetBlue has severely declined in customer satisfaction and performance. I’ve had many flights delayed or cancelled by them, with cancelations less than 3-4 hours before scheduled departures.

All IFE's on American carriers are free now. I think it's just because it is a older system that has not yet been removed. You will find the system on United's 737 700,800, and 900 unless retrofitted.
