Tragic, but at least you were able to salvage all those bricks and odds and ends to make the rebuild easier.

I'd like to see him evolve slowly and perhaps start working with iron tools and make bigger houses with tables and chairs. Would be so cool.

You’re almost able to able to make bronze with that amount of heat. I understand that primitive people probably didn’t use this particular method of airing fire like this but it’s a proof of concept that this was the kind of innovation it took for human beings to get better, To make better and stronger tools or even weapons. innovation doesn’t go one direction, it scatters and has no boundaries even if you believe it to have that, figuring out ways to forge things like bronze allowed people to make lives better but can also give others a keen eye in using it to take them away.

32:45: That work, that you do, is hard labour. On small thing you could do, in order to save some energy is to craft a bucket to hold water for the brick mold. This would spare some walking.

If the second attempt had worked, I am wondering: At what point are you making charcoal, at at what point are you already starting to convert said charcoal into coke? Or did I misunderstand what coke is? In any case, for forging (and potentially for smelting too? idk) coke is sometimes preferred, although I do not really know why. Maybe because it provides fewer contamination? Maybe someone with more knowledge can clear this up for me xD

15:23 I think for the foot pedal (as suggested by the viewers ;) ) you would need some sort of lever to tie the rope to, not directly onto the axle. Take a look at older sewing machines if you want to understand what I mean. Also there are spinning wheels using this design afaik. But the I saw the other options you explored and probably this foot thing was only used because it frees up the hands, not necessarily due to efficiency xD Anyway, just wanted to add this in case you want to know what we were talking about (which might already anyway, sry...) :)
