There is another technique that is very similar for those who have swollen sinuses. More often than not if you seriously feel like you cannot breathe its not blockage from mucus, its actually swollen blood vessels and sinuses! The alternative techniques are essentially pressure points around the sinuses to relief the swelling. These will actually help rather than taking medication for it. Your body naturally does this to protect your immune system and lungs from harm. Some people also have it worse than others. If you notice, he has a deviated septum, I do too, so we are more prone to sinus infections, blockage, swelling, etc. There are surgeries to fix these issues that are usually covered by insurance.

the point of the nervous system is not to detect threats, its to coordinate actions and feel things
@Tommyswales10 күн бұрын
yes, it analyses inputs and then creates an action through the sympathetic or parasympathetic systems ie fight/flight or rest/digest

*Fun fact: The "nasal cycle" periodic swells and shrinks the nasal turbinates (tissues in the nasal passages), which alters airflow between the two nostrils.*

i can already do the splits so i didnt just unlock them in this video. I was just making the point that having limited mobility across the body, such as the thorax can be a limiting factor for achieving something like the splits. the best way to know where your limited in your mobility is using a form of self screening. I have a tool called the Self Awareness Movement (SAM) Scan that i teach to all of my athletes to self assess their movement quality and then self correct. if your interested, email to [email protected] and my team will send you a link.

All these exercises are good for people who have been doing heavy manual work . We often over use our lumbar lower back so all these hip openers and hamstring stretches will relieve accumulated tension and allow us all to have a better and safe stable range in any working posture and depend less on using only back muscles. I have spent years working as a landscape gardener climbing trees etc and have some work related injuries too . Four years ago I had difficulty even walking eventually got physio therapy and started stretching and recovering The body learns fast . Isometric exercises have helped me a lot and Now I've started calestenic too so I'm going to do these exercises. I don't need to do the spits up on a tree or mixing cement but Thank you I know these will help my strength balance and mobility
