Maintaining strength and control around the spine to manage and transmit forces for is critical for effective and efficient running.

The pallet press or horizontal chop can iron out some weak links in direction control across the spine during gait.

agreed, this doesnt directly make you run faster, but can help increase efficiency of force and power transmission across the spine and pelvis, helping with speed production.
