This is on the bottom of my ranking in the franchise. I agree with you, I hated the story, and that finale sucked. For the most part I also agree about how tame the kills are in this, except for one. I thought the radio host death was surprisingly really good (one of my favorite kills in the franchise somehow lol). This just didn't feel like a Halloween franchise movie to me. Great review!

@@MellowMutant You're right about the radio host. He gets messed up badly. It was a good kill. Not a great battle between good vs evil one bit. I also agree with you that it didn't feel like a Halloween movie because most of the movie I was, where is Michael Myers? This could have been a spinoff movie, not part of the trilogy. Tango and cash a great movie. Vampires is a great movie they have a 2 disk set on bluray that has a lot of great special features. Village of the damed great film love the cast and Christopher reeve so good. Christine great movie it was a Stephen king book and in the book it was a ghost of a dead guy who owned the car first but they took that part out. Great video.

Hell no Shelley was great and without him jason would have never got the hockey mask and shelley is one of the most beloved Friday the 13th characters and Larry zerner played shelley well and part 3 is better than the first two movies and dont u ever say that about Shelley hes one of my favs characters

@@spidersupreme6590 Shelley did a good job on his acting, but I just don't care about his character. Larry Zerner might be the coolest human being around, but his character of Shelley is just horrible to me. I don't know the behind the scenes on how the hockey mask came about. Yes, Shelley had the mask to prank people plus other props. I think the movie could have done something different for the hockey mask, but I just can't think of how.

I did not know this going be different, not more scene of Lauire and Micheal, just Allyson and Corey. Kills and Ends are great sequel and not worst. I hate two Rob Zombie movies. My friend's like Halloween Kills and Ends.

I really love Halloween Kills, it was not that bad and my favorite 2021 movie. It was different ending to the original flashback 1978 when Frank was there. CGI of Dr. Loomis was good. Micheal mask was good with burn fire. All Kills scene was insane.

I do feel this one is an improvement over the first rob zombie halloween because it didn't just feel like another bad rehash. It's far from the best Halloween movie but I did enjoy it for the most part.

All I have to say is Ends is my third favorite movie in the franchise after H2 1981 and Season of the Witch. It's not even close to as good as H2, but I don't think any movie in the franchise is as good as H2 (including the damn overrated original). I also like the H5 (I know it's mannered, weird and deliberately wrong). And don't even start talking about H20 and the other two films of the Blumhouse trilogy, it totally sucked.

@@JohnFranklinMovieReviewer Maybe. H5 is not a good movie by any means, but it's a cheesy slasher classic. It's the Gothic atmosphere of Halloween and the Midwest, the brilliant performance of Pleasence and the development of Loomis' character, who has finally gone crazy, and the dynamic between him and the constantly returning killer who can't die - that's what I like Halloween for. Myers and Loomis are making these films for me, not Laurie Strode. Also, H5 is the best acting by Daniel Harris, several unique scenes, and Donald Shanks is my second favorite Michael after Dick Warlock (something about when Michael was not a clone of Jason or Ghostface, but actually carried a subtle psychological aspect, and he was not played in the same film several extras with different physiques and body language). All the films in the Thorn trilogy are simultaneously deafeningly bad in some aspects and stunningly good in others, and my opinion about which of them is the best has changing over time. The only thing that remains unchanged is that everything that came out after the Thorn trilogy was either exceptionally bad or damn mediocre.

@@amilcarmusah4218 The only cheesy thing about Halloween 5 is the 2 cops, but in a bad way. They are the comic relief of the movie and it never worked for me one bit. I see your point about Dr. Loomis going crazy. I'm not a fan of crazy Dr. Loomis. Scaring a little girl and he is the hero of this franchise. No, I will pass on this particular Loomis. I can agree with you about the thorn trilogy. Yes, there are a lot of bad movies after Part 6, but I have some nostalgia for Halloween H20. When I watch other people's ranking on this franchise, H20 is pretty low on the list. It sounds like a lot of people would agree with you on that. I could be on an island with that and I'm perfectly fine with that.
