This worked for me, thanks guys. Getting the plate back on was the toughest part but otherwise, Easy Peasy.

The idea of re-birthing the brand with the remaining team was brought up several times. I can't begin to understand or explain the amount of obstacles that stand in the way of that happening. But just know, if we could've, we would've. The last few of us employees truly cared for the company and were trying everything we could to keep it alive.

I ordered a RCR Dirt in October. I thought I would receive it within weeks, I used Affirm to finance the bike, paying $594 every month for 10 months. I checked in with you Jeff every month and you would confirm that I would be receiving my bike soon, and then all communication ceased. I contacted Affirm for resolution, and they say that I didn't file a claim within 60 days, and also state that I need to continue with the $594 payments until it is paid off which is roughly $3,600 more. How frustrating to continue to pay $594 per month knowing full well I will never receive what I am paying for. Best wishes Jeff, I don't hold you responsible. Do you have a contact of anybody I can discuss this with?

I thought that company tanked. I remembered going to their shop once and was not impressed by the show of enthusiasm to a possible future customer so I decided to not bother and just went to euc route. Happy I did.☺️. I wish onyx will improve and be successful of course I thought their products was well thought of.

Do you have any recommendations for places in/around Los Angeles that would be able to do repair work on Onyx bikes? Would also appreciate any pointers regarding where folks are currently finding parts. Thanks!

Join the ONYX facebook groups. You'll find all the resources you need on there. "ONYX Motorbikes group" "ONYX AF" "ONYX RCR MODS" "ONYX AF SALES" just to name a few. Find Nick Rivera on FB. He's in West LA and does repairs.

Onyx never dropped in popularity. People were still placing orders to the bitter end. So why did the company fail way before the CEO died? What was the distraction that took eyes off the prize?

Nice bike! There are now tons of slightly below Sir Ron speed bikes out there for cheap. While they are not as good as a Sur Ron for jumps, they are speed competitive with them.

I feel like I had to watch this company slowly crash while being overseas, I always wanted to get one, but eventually went with Huck cycle stinger 3000, not a bad bike, but I feel like there's things that could have been improved. I dream of setting up my own shop to support all e bikes have a charge system and some arcades cabinets and vending machines while people wait either to charge up or have their bike repaired up in Northern Cali. I just don't know if there is really a market to support this dream. If you need some side work, I would love someone to look at my Huck cycle and maybe you can improve on it a bit? Let me know, best of luck to your ventures otherwise.

Just build a bike yourself, get parts from the internet, plenty of tutorials online on how to do it, i build myself a stealth bomber clone, most parts sorted from alibaba and amazon, can customize everything you want, mod things up, also price range is up to you, i made myself 12000w 72amp, 40ah bike witch is basically a bit more power than surron and only coasted 3k, you can get even cheaper with less powerful motor, and less ah in battery, basically you can budget yourself everything.

Is there any other e-bike made anywhere that can match the specs? 45+mph, 40+mi range, Class III with pedals, no plate or insurance needed, <5 hour charge, 2-up possible with seat mod and rain tolerant? It's been on top with no competition in those regards, at least to my knowledge. Plus it is very fun to ride.
