Is the stadler made oven still your dream pizza oven? Would you buy it again? And do you need to also buy the thermo door?

@chain.driven5 ай бұрын
You think it could ever be disassembled? Seems a nice addition that you could sit around it to and keep warm! Have you tried cooking other things. My only concern is that the cooking area looks quite small. Would a 12 inch cast iron skillet fit?

Love both your videos and presentation! Excellent job. You had your Stadler oven now a while and I was wondering how you like it after using it a couple years. I am thinking about getting one. It looks like a nice construction and design. I have a big Earthstone oven but you have to burn too much wood just for one pizza. Would you recommend the Stadler?

Great video, thanks! I'm thinking of buying one myself and I was wondering: since there's no chimney, isn't there too much of a smoke-taste? It seems that the pizza-stone turns black immediately...
@len94833 жыл бұрын
I'm waiting on that question as well.
@plumspizza23883 жыл бұрын
There are air vents on the back that release the smoke. Also you want to keep the front door off while you cook to let the air flow in and keep the fire burning as well release the smoke from the front. Yes the stone does turn black but doesn't hinder the taste. It has a "slight" smoke taste but that is what makes it soo damn good!

Good day, I started watching your video as I found the pizza oven site on line and really like it... Before you said anything your background reminded me of a place in Oregon were I grew up... lol cannon Beach ... please keep the videos coming... they look great. How are you finding the bottom cooking? As a lot of similar designs, the bottom burns before the top is complete... I loved the old Shakey’s and Gino’s of Portland past... Keep it up as I am new to the pizza making also and love the process just need to keep trying to get that perfect crust and bottom Cheers
@plumspizza23883 жыл бұрын
Hi Daryl! Love Cannon Beach. I'm there all the time. The bottom cooks great. Sometimes I burn the top before the bottom because the fire cooks over the top of the pizza. Great oven though. No regrets.

How much did you pay for this, in the web site it's saying 590 Euros, that's like 700+ american dollars, I don't know if that's right or not. But can you be so kind how much you doid pay for it Thanks.
@plumspizza23883 жыл бұрын
Hi Angel! Yeah it was around $700 USD. I live in Oregon so there is no tax, so it might be a little more. It was worth every penny!

Nice video! How are you finding the oven after a couple of months use? I have one arriving Thursday. I also have the Ooni Karu which I love. I love the engineering looks of the Stadler. I’m not sure it will get to the same temperature as the Karu. Can you get over 400 Celsius? (752 Fahrenheit) I am hoping it can hit 430ish for Neapolitan pizza.
@plumspizza23883 жыл бұрын
Hey Neo- Thanks for the co-sign on the video. Glad you enjoyed it. I have never gotten the oven to that heat level. The hottest is 650 degrees (F). This temp cooks the pizza in 3-4 mins. It doesn't mean it can't get to that temp., I personally haven't seen it.

what kind of wood did you use?
@plumspizza23883 жыл бұрын
Hey Chad- At first I use about 6 pieces of kindling to get the oven started with some nice heat. I use raw kindling (no glaze). Once the heat starts I use normal wood bought in a bundle and chop the wood into a size that is similar size to your forearm. Apply when needed to keep oven hot.
