Amazing. We've come a long way from the days of the Dave Cone, Bronson Arroyo, El Duque & Rich Hill. Bring on the next wave of multi-slot pitchers!! Great for the game imo.

I'd love it if you'd find someone who wanted to pitch but really didn't know how and do a regimen with them and do a series of remote coaching and whatever with them and do monthly updates or whatever and track their progress with videos. Offer them free training in return for allowing sharing of the whole training process with them. Someone with good tools but bad form and no workout routine and whatever. Show how you adjust their program based on their strengths and progression. I think that would be a super fun video series.

If only i could afford this kind of coaching but i dont have the money or all the equipment that i would need to benefit from this. (I dont even have a real mound to throw off of) so unfortunately ill still be stuck with coaching myself how to be a pitcher that will probably not get me anywhere. (Im 21 and havent even been allowed to tryout for a team since 8th grade cause i play weird to them) so who knows why i do it anymore lmaooooo

When you throw this should you put pressure on your middle finger?
@treadathleticsКүн бұрын
Depends on whether you're a pronator or supinator! Generally, you should be trying to get to the side of the ball

If you're a pronator, you may have to just spike it. Check out the full video this clip is from for more context! kzbin.info/www/bejne/innHZ3aeZ7uAodU

To avoid hurting my wrist and elbow in little league, I developed a knuckleball (almost on accident) and had the same catcher all the way into high school He got so damn good at snagging my pitches and framing them 😂 We laugh about it to this day because nobody knew wtf to do with those nasty pitches

Tread athletics can you answer this question please? Lately when i have been pitching my speeds have been inconsistent. One week I was throwing 65-67 mph but then the next week I was throwing 61-63 mph. Can you tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it?
@treadathletics2 күн бұрын
There are plenty of reasons your velo can fluctuate and we wouldn't be able to tell you without getting much more context and assessing you. However, we made this video which may help you narrow it down! kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJS8p6Zmgr-Fjc0
