Quick question: are there restrictions to van used (like electric vs fuel?) Will DOT medicare/medicaid inspect and require certain specific companies to do the ramp install or can I hire an EV mechanic and be approved as long as safe and functional per the inspection guidelines? My issue is that the Braunability vendors have no EV installations and this is a limiting factor.

But this one here is definitely the one I've been looking for because I am a current GA resident. I'm a truck driver/Owner Operator with my own LLC and some of the business information that you guys mentioned I already have. I have decided to get into the NEMT industry as a second business, but mainly for my passion to help people and my community. My wife has been a great supporter, and I'm so grateful. I have just started the process of creating my business plan and I came up with the name already, but I'm still undecided if I should get a separate LLC for this business other than my trucking business. I live in New Jersey and I am a little lost about the types of licenses I need and if I would have to apply for another driver's license, that is, a commercial one, to drive that type of vehicle.
