Do you guys have a Regional contract

I thought I'd finally found my career I would go into retirement with.. I've worked for the company for nearly three years, and over the last year or trips have slowly dropped away. The new at the beginning of last year that this was happening, and all of our drivers have been background checked and Drug check twice since then. My sister also works for access to care. After the first round, we had problems with my 12 year old assault charge from an ex, which was also pleaded down to a simple misdemeanor. It was originally a felony charge. Access to care allowed me to write a letter explaining myself and how her story changed three times in front of the judge. I have continued to work local and Statewide with the company. Yesterday my owner called me in after the last round of background checks and told me that MTM will not authorize me to drive for our company anymore. She will keep me on for other contracts, but I instantly have lost 95% of my hours. Is there any way I can appeal to MTM?

Sorry to hear about your situation and I understand who this can be frustrating. You should contract MTM directly to understand why your background is now an issue and their driver requirements. Ask About Appeals, See if MTM has an appeals process and explain your side. Submit documents like a detailed explanation, and references like you did before. Stay persistent-advocating for yourself might lead to a better outcome.

MTM bought out MTBA, AAA and Yellow Cab in Arizona. It took months for them to get their software working and many drivers quit the business. They definitely didn't seem pro independent contractors unless it was Uber and Lyft.

Access 2 Care doesn't provide me any trips. I haven't even made $250 since working with them. Hoping the trip volume will increase. If not, I'm terminating my contract.

We lost so much business when they switched and they gave the patients the choice on what vendor they wanted and was quick to send Lyft.
