pulled this from another reply: i didn't use much of a chain on this because i used AI to separate the vocals from the instrumental. porter's vocal mix pretty much carried. i used flex pitch on logic , pitched it up an octave, and formant shifted upwards of around 200 units. EQd out excessive highs & lows then layered with original formant during some sections. basically, porter's original vox did all the work and i just used AI to separate then flex pitch on logic.

It honestly could sound pretty cool like this too but I think the problem is just the key he wrote the song in, it's a lot more optimized for his un-octaved voice. When it's up the octave it goes up to like G5 at the chorus which is way higher than anything that was on nurture and it's a little too out there lol

i agree. i think the verses sound alright but the chorus sucks with the nurture chain. was gonna keep the original pitch for the chorus but this isn't necessarily made to be listened to for pleasure. the OG vocals are incredible & his range is insane on the original song
