Any resorts for this winter season yet? I’m staying in Utah since I’m at college, but will be filming lifts I missed filming last season with my IKON premium pass, Deer Valley’s new lifts, and even Sundance will be on the list!

@@skiliftguy4181 I’m in my second year of college in Colorado, so I’ve got quite a bit. I plan to finish up my Copper Mountain series, as well as adding a new Eldora series. I’m also gonna try to ski for a weekend in Jackson Hole in January.

The cabins look exactly like the ones on the Roundhouse Gondola! Also, I'm confused why they removed the Outlaw Mountain Coaster, it looked like a lot of fun!

@@idahoskilifts4242 They removed the mountain coaster to make room for the Wild Blue Gondola and the relocated Christie Peak Express terminal. Also, the mountain coaster made things more cluttered and was a bit of an eyesore, so I’m kinda happy it was removed. The coaster had its fans, but this just wasn’t the right location for it.

I was in Granby Ranch for a cousin's wedding back in 2014 (BEFORE I created my KZbin channel), and let's say that I wasn't happy with the dress code for THAT event. I'm definitely more of a casual person to be honest.

@@DeltaChairlifts5 I personally prefer taking the chairlift so I don’t have to take my skis off, and I can just ski directly to Thunderhead from Christie Peak if the gondola is on a wind hold.

The replacement of this lift reminds me of the Centennial lift replacement at Brundage. Both high-speed quads are Doppelmayr uni-g and they both replaced long CTEC triples.

i do have to say that i do not like christie peak because it stopped on me A LOT, that is why i only go to the mid-station to lap the half pipe. so 2/5 for christie's

@@DeltaChairlifts5 In my earlier years at the Boat, I would get off at the midstation, but nowadays I just go all the way to the top. On some days it would stop less than on other days, but it usually runs really well. I probably rode it on some good days.

I love Steamboat. Hoping for a great season, maybe I can get out there in March. I can't figure out where to stay during peak season. They quote me like $500 a night even at the chain places off mountain, and rabbit ears is booked usually til March.

@@bluetoast8584 When I was at the Boat, I stayed at the Edgemont, right on the slopes, but we booked a room several months in advance. There are so many lodging options, like Trappeur’s and Vacasa, and if you book a room several months in advance, they’ll likely be less expensive.

The UPPER terminal of the 8-person Doppelmayr UNI-G gondola at Steamboat DOES have an exposed bullwheel. Note: We know that Steamboat also has the Wild Blue Gondola, a 10-person Doppelmayr D-Line gondola, especially because it appears in the background of the clips where you unload Sundown Express and where you show the lower terminal of the Bashor lift!

I was in South Lake Tahoe recently, and I went to Heavenly Mountain for scenic summer lift rides (I obviously had my Epic Pass on me), and the lifts I recorded were the iconic gondola and the Tamarack Express detachable six pack. Note: I only use an actual GoPro mount on myself during the winter.

I missed the premiere of this video, but the best/craziest moments (in my opinion of course) are the double startup on the Summit at Whitefish, the winds on Three Bears and the summit of Tucker Mountain at Copper Mountain, the winds at the top of the Lazy J Rope Tow at Arapahoe Basin, the automatic locking bars on Greenhorn Ranch Express at Steamboat. I also liked seeing Storm Peak Express and Sundown Express lifts in this video.

In the summer, unloading at Deer Point's top terminal feels like a launchpad because after the chair detaches, it speeds up for a minute as you approach the deck. It allows you to feel like you're launching off the chair, really fun!
