Hey Yohann! Hope you're doing good. Yeah just write the bureau of the director a mail with a CV and a short explainer why you want to apply there. Google helps out with getting the mail adress you need. I think that speaking French is definitely a big plus, especially in Bern, but not speaking German might be a problem. Just ask the department and maybe they're cool with it.

@@erdinn yeah, although wouldnt go as far to say it works for every citizen, can imagine theres some that just dont get the opportunity due to maybe a lack of a certain set of privileges, once ur set for hauptschule as a kid e.g. its def harder to get outta there all the way to the uni. <3

During preclinical years, we are examined for clinical skills (auscultation, abdominal, neurological exams, history taking, empathy) by standardized patients “SPs” and faculty who have cameras recording our interactions.

Yes! In Essen gibt's die Regelung "NC+Bewerbungsgespräch" bei der 51% der Punkte für die Zulassungslistung der Uni aus Bewerbungsgespräch und 49% aus dem NC bestehen. Mit meinem NC von 1.3 und dem gut gelaufenen Bewerbungsgespräch hat es dann für den Studienplatz gereicht.
