@@erdinn standardized patients are trained actors that portray patients with specific pathologies / medical complaints. During preclinical years, we are examined for clinical skills (auscultation, abdominal, neurological exams, history taking, empathy) by standardized patients “SPs” and faculty who have cameras recording our interactions.

@@erdinn Not quite, although I’d love to be back in Europe. I’m a first year medical student in the United States, at a DO program (medicine + osteopathic medicine).
