Dr. I’ve been dealing with a bad ankle for 2 years now and I been to multiple people already including a surgeon. Is there any way you would be able to review an MRI and just give your general thoughts and observations?? I know there’s companies that do that online not sure if that’s something you do.

My MRI showed ligaments torn on my right hip. I have been going for physio and chiro for 2 years since my fall. And finally my orthopaedic surgeon found the identified the cause of my pain on the MRI. I have since gone for surgery to repair my ligaments and muscle. 6 weeks in recovery, very painful Thanks for sharing

DO NOT BUY SPEECH ONE WIRELESS HEADSET. I have had 2 sets over a span of 4 years. This microphones are overrated and the price does not match the quality of parts. The plastic becomes brittle in less that a year and crumbles in different areas. It happened to both of them. Signal constantly cuts on both of them. No matter what I did or what other computer I used it with. The magnetic charger never shuts down and heats up the battery. One of them had the battery swollen one year after purchase and there is not replacement parts. You can send it to fix but pretty much is better to buy a new one. Tired of constantly calling Philips and their distributors to get nonsense answers. DO NOT BUY this product. I'm a physician and it is marketed to physicians. It is ridiculous overpriced and quality is crap in my opinion. I get the same results with dictation on a 20 dll wired set from Nuance.

If AI can replace radiologist ..then AI can diagnose accurately according to the symptoms and prescribe medicines also accurately. ..so medicine will also be replaced by AI...and robotic surgery is also advancing...its already taking place in many hospitals...so no need for surgeons also...so conclusion no need for doctors..!! conclusion is AI can make work easier but can never replace radiologist or any other doctor...becoz it can not be more accurate than human brain...

After an arthrogram MRI, I was diagnosed with this injury over 1 year ago. I was given the option of open surgery or ongoing physio therapy. I opted for physio therapy however I have never fully recovered. The injury is at its most painful when doing a flat bench press with a barbell. I’m managing to workout regularly however I fear I will never be back to my best. Seriously considering the surgery however I would like to exhaust all other options first.

@santamarialopez2 ай бұрын
I asked Dr Stoller about the ALL. He said it no longer exists and there were some orthopod groups claiming to repair it. I personally think it does exist. But unsure whether orthopods actually consider it significant, as it’s unlikely to be torn in isolation
@cappxd.61262 ай бұрын
I just had my ACL reconstructed and Lateral meniscus repaired… as well as my ALL reconstructed. 9 days ago actually. I’m assuming you’re saying it doesn’t exist meaning the procedure? Or the actual ligament? I never knew there was another ligament on the lateral side on the knee, not being stupid I just never knew, only due to how little it is spoken about, of course a lot of people generally speak about your PCL, ACL, LCL, MCL in relation to injuries. When my surgeon’s team member first spoke to me about it he told me what the process was, or what they call the LET reconstruction or repair. Where they either use a bit of the ITB band or hamstring grafts. I was so very lucky (not in a literal sense, sarcasm here lol) I got both my grafts from the same leg. But they also cut into my ITB band a bit. I haven’t seen the surgeon yet, I’ll see him in 5weeks to confirm everything because when I last spoke to him I was very drowsy and had little to no sleep.

That's interesting. It depends likely on regional and educational differences in the background of surgeons.

Hello sir, I have a knee injury, I have a partial ACL tear along with an MPFL strain, but there seems to be an area of 'missing cartilage' just near the mpfl, on the medial part of trochlea, it may be medial plica or something else, I couldn't identify any intraarticular loose bodies so I am not sure if it is a chondral defect or not. Could you please take a look, my anonymized DICOM images are uploaded to drive.google.com/drive/folders/1QsVrYYt_L1hmHCer0r78JqWPjDWHyvUY?usp=drive_link Thank you in advance (if you do have a look), another question is wriberg type - c/3 patella a developmental defect or something genetic? Also, my infrapatellar plica looks very thickened, are there causes for this and could this cause any problems? There also seems to be a band of tissue that is broken off at the back of the knee (cor pd fatsat views on oldest and latest MRI), seems to be a torn ACL bundle but I am not sure, its upper end points toward the lateral wall of the medial femoral condyle, it is only seen on the oldest and latest MRIs but not in the second one (why is that? because the slices were at slightly different places , we can't see the band or is it an artifact?). This band of tissue appears dark on the coronal PD fat sat image of the oldest MRI but appears white on the cor pd fatsat image of the latest MRI. Maybe it is a torn meniscofemoral ligament? To my amateur eye - looks like I have an MPFL strain, ACL sprain , fluid around lateral meniscus coronary ligament, extremely thickened infrapatellar plica. Pardon me for any ambiguity since I am no radiologist just a person with a knee injury who tried my best to research the knee. Anyway, whether you have a look or not, love your videos and please continue posting more, I really think it is non-radiologists who have some kind of injury or are simply interested in MSK are the most interested in your videos! My symptomns- Mildly painful clicking medial to the patella (top of patella) Pain and clicking at the back of knee on medial side, seems some kind of hamstring tendon strain but I can't see anything on MRI Knee feels loose (likely due to ACL sprain) Anterolateral knee pain (this started just before the latest MRI) but MRI in that region was clean

I live in US. My Consultant thinks I have a labral tear and has ordered an MRI (without contrast). As I'm acutely claustrophobic, I'm getting fully sedated with a GA. I am thinking that if I have a GA, just so I can cope with an MRI, wouldn't it make sense to ask that the MRI is with contrast? I want the best shot at getting as informative an MRI as possible first time round. Do you have any thoughts/advice for me? Thank you for any help!
