I learned about this variant too late...

In this video, I show you a anatomic variant in the knee, which can have lead to surgical complications. It is called an aberrant anterior tibial artery (AATA), where the anterior tibial artery has a high origina and runs between popliteus muscle and tibial head, where it is at risk in the so-called "danger zone".
I show you an easy trick how to never miss this variant again.
Surgical complications can be compartment syndrome, muscle necrosis, even below the knee amputation.

I never was a fan of "fake surprise open mouth thumbnails" and similar youtube trends but I see where youre going with this, trying to make videos more engaging and maybe entertaining, maybe expanding youre viewership not only to specialists. And obviously you yourself like it and plenty of others as well so everybody can filter out what they want for themselves :)
