So we have a car with front disk brakes and rear drum brakes, does thiss issue only happen with drum brakes ?
@PrimeTechautoАй бұрын
@@Shockload most of the times yes. Some workshops never remove rear drums to check this. Disc brakes are self clean since it’s open. But the drum brakes we have to remove and clean. Otherwise all the dust stay inside and makes noise. You won’t get better braking performance. Doing this will do both. Get rid of noise and getting better brake performance.

Hi Primetech, next time you have MQ or MR can you do a smoke test through the intake please? I recently did one and had smoke come out of the EGR through the little opening that allows atmospheric pressure so the diaphragm can move freely when the engine applies vacuum, so I ordered another one and replaced EGR got the same result, ordered another EGR with the same result, is this normal? I looked on the internet and got mixed answers and the dealership couldn't tell me either or they don't know. Thanks. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6eldJ-koqh1hNUsi=iER9J3Lx9dEnHXS1

@PrimeTechautoАй бұрын
@@thevideo7470 if the pins are corroded and pitted inside the caliper pin holes. It’s no ping of wasting time repairing. The best thing is buy new one. But if it’s just seized because of the grease gets hard. You still have chance to save the caliper.
