He laid the blueprint down and he was ahead of his time during his time the dance scene would look entirely different if it wasn't for him, and he was also the one who worked with Michael Jackson for the choreography to smooth criminal heck he was even in the video! And Boogaloo Shrimp even confirmed it! The dance scene is completely next level compared to what it was back then but you can't just look down on the blueprint

I just have no words. He was the GREATEST and being only 3 years older than me, a peer at least in age. If I weren't at work I'd be crying harder than the mere eye-watering happening now. This man is irreplaceable and underrated and unsung and it's high time there was much, much more recognition for his contributions as one of the pioneers and choreographers who changed dance for all time.

I need to know more about this guy! Why did he die broke and when and why did he stop working for M.J.? I ask with love and respect and in no way mean to be hurtful or disrespectful. Why is his family asking for financial help to bury him? M.J. helped pay for the funerals of all sorts of black people. P.P. & Bigi have no interest in doing so? What gives?
@floraline71532 жыл бұрын
@@alexkx8599 That's a good question. I saw a brief interview with Falcon where he was asked why he was leaving the MJ tour and his answer was quite shifty. I deeply believe he was unnerved by something and decided to nearly quit dance. He disappeared from the scene late 90s-early 00s and then you could tell he was rusty. He came back fully by 2002 but just to showcase and then later, teach a bit in Europe. He took a big hit because dance just doesn't pay unless you are like him lucky enough to tour with someone like MJ. So, his choice made him as poor as any other starving artist. Just my two cents, and I believe I'm right. There should be a big fundraiser for his family. He was a star and a real innovator who should be credited up there with the greatest of choreographers.

@@floraline7153 With all due respect I think we should be real careful about saying he was unnerved by something...which COULD have happened and been the case but I in no way think that that had to have been so either. It could have been simply issues of business, something else (an injury), or what have you. Those tours HAD to be HIGHLY stressful on all people involved. 0 chance that they were not as miraculous, beautiful, and victorious as I thought that they were. The guy from Shalamar (I can't remember his name) who worked with him helping to teach Michael how to dance said that Michael was VERY generous with what he was paid. This doesn't mean Taco was bad just to clarify. Good, smart, careful people can make mistakes and fall upon hard times.
@floraline71532 жыл бұрын
@@alexkx8599 I am not going to censor myself. He was unnerved. I saw it with my own eyes and heard it with my ears. He stammered, he didn't give a reason, he was very nervous. I never said I knew why he quit nor did I imply why other than the word, unnerved. Anyway, it doesn't matter now. Falcon is gone and left a legacy in movement if not in monetary wealth.
@alexkx85992 жыл бұрын
@@floraline7153 Stammering doesn't equate or mean anything! If he saw something of significance he was obligated morally and by law to report it! He did not so nothing happened of that level of significance IF we are going to say he has good character to understand this himself.
