salah in his peak.. he was just untouchable by any other dancer in this time... tricks, moves, can dance, entertain, control, hits, he would be able to own the floor in battle dancing like nobody i've seen after him.

yeah he was too good. from 2004-10 he was untouchable. judges started to steal wins from him eventually popping changed focus and evolved by the end of 2010. The battle that changed popping forever was salah vs nelson at UK bboy champ 2010 + salah leaving battles for 2 years. Nelson influence which is totally oposite to salah style, started to be noticed in japan and USA and europe. Poppin pete voted for nelson many times in battle. we went to a more technical aspect of the dance which is not bad. salah, he was the best in the game. after its been swtiching between greetenck mtpop slim kite, gucchon hoan nelson. but never like undisputed like salah was. that wont happen again.

Salah had the crowd eating from of the palm of his hand, but personally I think Loic had more skill; all around being more clean-cut than his opponent. Reason being that Salah was doing a lot of show-off moves that didn't require much skill as a dancer, but rather as an entertainer.

Salah won that, but not because of technical skill, but because he plays to the crowd more. There's no denying dude's good, but he DOES get by a lot through "clown show" popping. Still, this was entertaining and I DID enjoy watching it. Salah looked like he had more fun during his sets and he rode the beat better. Good stuff.

Salah is a great entertainer, and decent popper, locker, and at one time breaker, but his is a BRILLIANT battler. look at the way he got Loic, to use head isolations (Salah's bread n butter) and got him to acknowledge where he kicked his character, before getting the fishing poll out. Genius

Salah started locking because Loic did the first round. This battle is all for fun, since its not a straight pop vs pop or lock vs lock, they are both just having fun. Watch Salah vs Blade where Salah krumps. I don't think he "switched" to popping because he realized he's not good enough at locking, but because he wanted to show other things too.

its called locking, if anything salah went more onto loic's moves in this one. The reason why loic lost is cause he confined himself to locking, whereas salah has a mixed style thats bassed on entertaining the audience as aposed to seeing who is better at a certain style
