not related to the map but a random fact is that sloefur was a medicine cat who was alive when mapleshade was, but was also alive when skyclan was still in the forest

the subtitles change color once she goes to the shadowclan side and away from the bear. (orange to lilac.) edit: Correction, I meant I love the detail. Breaking away from that pressure that is in thunderclan. Also at the end theres 3 stars that disappear. I think this means the three is broken apart because she goes to shadowclan? omg I just realized theres more- when she uses her power her eyes turn honey-like, meaning the honey everywhere *is* her powers.

To be honest, I really hated the Dovewing and Tigerheart couple at first. The reason is simple. There was always a cat from the ThunderClan, and when a cat from another clan fell in love, the cat always had to move from the ThunderClan or give a kitten. I really hated that. At least once, I thought about whether Tiger Heart should have come. However, if he had come to the Thunder Clan, the storyline would not have continued, that cannot be denied. And now I recognize this couple. I feel sorry for Bumblestripe, but he ignores her feelings too much, and he likes her too one-sidedly. And she played with him. Tiger Heart....yeah, well. Although I like this couple now, I still think it would have been better if Dovewing stayed with the Thunder Clan forever.

But she didn’t play with Bumblestripe’s feelings? Cinderheart, Whitewing(her mother), Rosefur or whatever her name was, and even Ivypool, once in OOTS and the Shattered Sky bonus scene, pressured her to get with Bumblestripe even though she didn’t want to and saw him as a friend. She dated him for a while in Bramblestar’s Storm, but they broke up. Then Bumblestripe is STILL trying to get with her even though she’s clearly annoyed, and even tries to convince her to have babies with him while she’s most vulnerable and saddened, after Purdy’s. And she shouldn’t feel obligated to stay in a place where she isn’t happy at because someone wants her to, and if she feels safer and more happy with Tigerheart in ShadowClan then that’s great! Ivypool didn’t even come with Tigerheart to find Dovewing despite her being worried about her leaving, going as far as to not look for Twigpaw’s mom because she didn’t want Dovewing and Tigerheart to be on the same patrol together and wanting Dovewing to get back with Bumblestripe. (Though Dovewing was out of character in Tigerheart’s Shadow- I’m not sure if it was her being pregnant but she really was out of character. And Tigerheart was annoying trying to force the cats to be more like a clan in order to protect themselves-)

I love this so much, the graphics and artists are 10/10 I just really wish there was more on the experience when dovewing came back to the clans with 3 little kits and was judged by so many.

Dovewing is probably one of my fave characters in warriors, her story resonates with a lot of trauma I have and it’s so hard to find good fics about her, but man this MAP is perfect
