That VDP comment is hilarious- Brian is so obviously drunk here & I love it

Paul Draper fucked this band up. You can tell he`s the least sincere person in the band. His ego/narcissism and lack of talent. The rest of the band created the sound. Domonic Chad was a brilliant guitarist and without him there wouldn`t be a band.

Say what you like about Dr Eugene Landy. He got Brian outta bed and forced him to deal with reality. And this is the result, a reinvigorated " hit man" clawing his way back to harmony.

I saw them do the complete S.F. Sorrow, this original line up, live at the Festival Hall, London in October 2001, with Arthur and David just like here, it was wonderful to finally see them do this! I discovered the album in my teens in the early 70s and it is still a fond favourite. Bless these guys, R.I.P. Phil. Jon. Skip.

Wide Open Space remains a classic. Mansun were a band who should have endured, due to their undoubted talent. The music Press nurtured, championed, lamented then quickly assassinated them

Peter Noone didn't present particularly well in this film. Not exactly something good. Graham Nash was on fire however.

Big Brian Wilson fan so he's what brought me here. But how come hardly anyone mentions Janis Ian when talking about this special? Her performance almost brought me to tears. I thought it was more powerful than Brian's.

Forget your Oasis and Blurs it was this band that did it for me in the 90s...real shame they didnt last longer!

David Gilmour on lead guitar 1 song. Terrific! Pete Townshend in his auto biography gave The Pretty Things credit for the first rock opera (and The Kinks also).

For the fans out there, I was lucky enough earlier this sunny day, to see none other than Dick Taylor play, in front of around 40 people, at a '60s weekend' at the Isle of wight Steam Railway, in Haven Street, with his band The Hillmans. I confess, I didn't even know he was there, but I remarked "This guitarist is really good" - he's 81, and can still play. They played at least 4 Stone's tracks and he nailed them. Then I found out who he was... was a cool random thing to happen. Now Im going to enjoy discovering more of his work

Six is an incredible album, still in my absolute top 10 albums. Its a shame that it transpired that Paul Draper pretty much screwed it for everyone, while blaming the rest of the band, management, record company people and pretty anyone he could think of. Dominic Chad detests him now, so there's absolutely zero chance of a Mansun reunion, which is a shame because recent videos of Paul on his "Six" tour are absolutely shocking. He's a complete shell of himself now.

The Pretty Things were a fine R&B band, but they peaked with the 2 prog albums S.F. Sorrow and Parachute. Here the word "fine" is not enough. S. F. Sorrow is simply a masterpiece and one of the most important albums in British rock. This live version with help from David Gilmore and Arthur Brown are great too!

Yes, maestro, "5% good, but 95% trash", as you put it. So who sponsored all that money (WWI & WWII blood money) down the tubes, if there was not a concerted agenda from the money changers, regardless of the enormous costs? Is it perhaps because you're not an accountant nor a sociologist nor a humanitarian? Were you really unaware of the well hatched plan by the Controllers to dumb down and corrupt the youth with "drugs, sex and rock 'n roll?" And who better than the world's premier musician of the day to give the sinister plan its blessings? 👎👎👎
