Damn, the guy rocks this one out about as hard as he can!! I laugh every time he yells the f word!😄 I keep hearing him say he's making a rock album and it's like sand thru my fingers...or his toes the way the years go by instead. Remember the Jeff Beck thing? Oh well, this song rocks enough for me. Thanks for posting it. Love you Brian!

@@crispwhite9068in 2013 or so, it was announced that Brian was working on a collaborative album with Jeff Beck, but they rushed them to tour without finishing the album and I think it kinda got shelved? Apparently a decent amount of it was done but it’s never surfaced to my knowledge

We Gotta Groove has a similar feel (but not finished) kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6Xdd3mclM1rr7s . A lot of Brian's production work from 15 Big Ones till around 1980 has a similar feel (but he didn't produce as much after Adult Child (1977) was shelved). Listen to the "Brian's back" trilogy for starters especially Beach Boys Love You.

I think a bit of reading between the lines suggests that he deliberately abandoned and destroyed his voice out of shame and spite
@danielfleming96307 ай бұрын
It is interesting to note that he wanted to basically quit the band by this point and felt a bit like a prisoner whose worth was tied to his ability to keep producing hits. So it’s not a stretch to think that this contributed

Wow! Brian goes punk! And says mother f_ _ka's about three times.:) This is the type of Brian that must've scared away both Iggy Pop and Alice Cooper by having them repeatedly sing Shortenin Bread with him. And I also believe Brian said to them it was the greatest song ever composed.
@floraline71533 жыл бұрын
He also has said Surf's Up and Be My Baby were the greatest. It keeps changing. Naturally, that's how an extremely artistic mind works. I would loved to have been a fly on the wall at those parties, though.
