Dr Haynes can preach. Now the election is over nothing can or will stop the incoming administration to SHUT DOWN any and every HBCU and nothing can stop trump or 2025 or 2029 from saying you teach what is white folk “Americans”🙄 want us to teach or not a Federal dime will go to HU, FAMU, Fayetteville State, Savannah State, A&T none of these HBCU’s. This will only be a drop in the bucket to its idiocy.

If we were to vote based on emotions, then Black men across America should be dissuaded from voting for a man who thinks that because he now has a criminal record, he can relate to them. To me, that's an insult. Having a criminal record is not , should not be a badge of honor. But even when logic prevails, some Black people are still not convinced that trumpty-dumpty is not for them. He never has been, and he never will be.

I was taught that one should never act/react out of emotions. The former president [Impotus Americaus] is running on a platform of hate, racism and fear mongering. Sadly we as a people are not only operating from a place of our emotions but also from places like non-factual, un-educated, dissemination of information rather than do our own research. Thank you for sharing information.

Loved the interview but I’m also miffed when we use the genocide that’s happing to Palestine as the reason to be concerned with this administration or VP Harris when the entire American political system is, has been and will always be the reason behind what’s happening in that area! It’s not a Biden issue, it’s the way our system is setup. I think we have to add that context when we criticize this administration. Trump would do the same thing if not worse!
@abenijewel
@abenijewel 2 ай бұрын
I beg differ. This administration has gone far beyond anything any other administration has done to support a genocide and in doing so THIS ADMINISTRATION has broken international law. This administration has also given record breaking numbers in military aid and weapons to Israel and have left them unchecked. Previous administrations have at least threatened or conditioned aid when Israel has acted out. Biden himself has said that no other US president has supported Israel more than he has. He has also proclaimed himself as a Zionist. Saying things could be far worse under Trump (which I feel like everything could be bad under him) spits in the face of those who are suffering right now! I agree that we have a systemic issue with money in politics, AIPAC, etc. but a lot of the onus in this moment is on Joe Biden. His hands are not tied. He has the power to bring this to an end. He has chosen not to. Even though the Vice President holds no true power in Biden’s decision when it comes to this, she has still made it her mission to back what is going on with her rhetoric. Her own VP candidate said that it’s in the United States interest that Israel expand in the region. That is cause for concern and tens of thousands of human beings being killed should have every one up in arms! There’s space to support who you support while also acknowledging that what they are doing is messed up and very alarming. You should want to hold them accountable!

Also, I don’t think you’d be saying what you’re saying if it was your family or your people who were suffering the way the Palestinians are suffering. I hope you watch our 2nd episode and realize what Moral consistency is.

@ I’ve actually watched all the episodes and I understand moral consistency. My issue is and was that we tend to label this a Biden/Harris issue when it’s an American sponsored apartheid issue.

I stand with Palestine, but the land was part of the land of Canaan. It was given the Israelites. Muslim took the land by force, then it was Spain and Europe who fought in a 10 year war called the crusade to get the land back. That's how the British got the land. Research the crusade. Again, I stand with Palestine. I'm just correcting the history of the land. The land was called Philistine named after Philistine
