The Cher song, "You Better Sit Down Kids" (brilliantly written by Sonny Bono) is a great and very sad song, but the jazzy ending in the song makes no sense at all considering the fact that song is about a couple breaking up!

Love it! The differences in the vocal sound from Sonny & Cher add to this song. A song from a gentler era that makes you want to go back to those simpler times, when the world was not so serious!

"Just In Time" is from the musical The Bells 🔔 Are Ringing. I believe they played opposite each other in this musical at the MUNY in 1966.

I can't believe that it's been nearly 2 1/2 years since Betty died (currently Apr 26, 2024). It seems like a short time ago that I was watching Super Password, and thinking "I can't believe that she's still alive".

Thanks so much for sharing this lost episode of the 1970s version of "Password". It's truly refreshing and heartwarming to watch Mr. Allen Ludden play his own game with the contestants...and help one of them win $20,000 in the Lightning Round! He was really a great host. And kudos, too, to Ms. Betty White for moderating the game effortlessly and with style. RiP to them both.

Phil kept Donte to be spiteful. He should've let Ronnie have custody because he didn't even want to raise children. I can only imagine what his sons went through when he no longer had Ronnie to torture.

There's no prominent percussion in "River Deep, Mountain High" to match the awesome vocal power of Tina Turner. Sly Stone would have been a more ideal producer for that track. Phil Spector was all about elevating teen anthems, not R & B.

The networks for years refused to let Betty White host a game show because researchers showed that audiences preferred that a man host a game show.
