I found a razor pocket mod n I'm trying to find out if I can switch the 24v out with a 36 volt electronic control from the razor scooter c35 .my cousin gonna put togather for me but trying to make sure it will work but not sure about the batteries because on the c35 it has 3 batteries .I was hoping to just be able to switch over .I also found the c35 but it didn't have the handlebars or throttle it didn't have the whole upper part .so I figured I either buy all that or convert it to my razor pocket mod .I can barely keep up with these names but the thing is the 36v electronic controller from the c35 is alot smaller and the connections are different and u seem to be a razor expert .I'd like these to use for myself and what can I do for speed .? I also saw a video about taking off the back of the electronic controller n said to solder something on the back to make it go faster . I'm just now learning about all these things but mine doing the same as u were talking about with the clicking not sure what series it is so I guess I'll try kicking off my cousin put wires in to show me it was working so I know it works but thank you for explaining it to us

What would cause the whole thing to work strong for 10 seconds then stall out? - batteries are 26.1v - motor? Was used in dusty area. Works after 10 min of not being used. Sounds like hell too, motor?

My OzCharge RescueMate was put to the test yesterday. First up, the battery died in my Harley Davidson 103 twin cam (1690cc). All I got was a 'click' when I pressed the starter button. So I connected my RescueMate to the motorcycle battery, however the battery level was not sufficient to charge the RescueMate, so I then connected the RescueMate to my car battery to charge the RescueMate. My RescueMate is the cheaper 400A model, so I really wasn't expecting it to start the H-D 103 engine, but it did it successfully. Tip 1: Make sure the clamps get a good 'bite' on the battery terminals. Tip 2: Make sure you follow the exact procedure to initiate the countdown process.

Okay so i have an xl. I got a multimeter to check the wiring | get 27.7 volt on the battery I get 4.28 from the throttle But I get 0 readings from the motor wire both ways. I have checked the wiring. I don't see any breaks in the motor wiring My conclusion is that my controller is bad. Can anyone confirm that?

Is there a way to bypass that feature. I have an inmotion scooterboard that is the same way, have to move it for power to go to motor. I am trying to hook up a thumb throttle to it, since the original broke, but can't figure out which wires go where. The thumb part black, Red and white I got, but not sure about the rest of the wires.

the problem with these is if u have to replace the expensive batteries you may as well toss it in trash because ...these have little to no value...they sell for 20-30$ used in good working cond in my area and 2 batts cost about 40$...so dumping 40$ into an item thats worth at most 30$ doesnt make sense.

Makes sense if you own 4 or 5 different cars but if you can only afford to have one or two cars electric cars make no sense.

Depends. Right now, EVs are best around town, so if you have 2 cars and keep the EV for local driving its great, or if you only have one car and don't take it on trips very often.

The “mustang mach e” is a disgrace to the mustang name. Its no where close to a mustang, its an suv/crossover not a sports car or muscle car. Call it anything else and you’d have no issue from me on whatever name you went with. But they wanted to use the name to encourage faster adoption. Shitty marketing decision. Hope you enjoy the accelerations being computer cancelled after 5 seconds of “WOT”. Last i checked the real mustangs didn’t do that. Anyone with an apartment or street parking who can’t plug in to charge overnight is at the mercy of charging stations. And if you chance charging it inside your garage a battery failure can burn it down. These are toys for rich people not the common man. They’re a solution to a problem we don’t have. ICE cars are superior for what I do and where I live and I’ll refine my own fuel for it before I switch to these half assed abominations.
@WildPowerSports7 ай бұрын
Ford says Mustang is a brand, not a car. There will be other "Mustangs" in the future also. And trust us, once you drive a Mach E, you will agree...its worthy of the Mustang name.
@johnh.wilson20817 ай бұрын
If you where you live doesn't allow for a charger to be used, your only option is to get it charged at charging station. As far as them never needing maintenance go to the Tesla maintenance page, one of the maintenance items is cleaning and lubricating all brake calipers every 12 months or 12,500 mi for vehicles in cold weather regions. How much do you charge for that service? EV tires wear out quicker than their ICE counterpart. Eventually that battery is going to have to be replaced. There are really no significant advantages of owning an EV over and ICE. They are nice toys for big boys.
@DOHCtor7 ай бұрын
Brake calipers need to be lubricated once a year if you live in areas where they salt the road. It's the same with ICE cars. That service can be done by yourself or any auto shop for about an hour of labor cost. The high voltage battery normally have 8-10 year warranties. EV tires do not wear quicker, it depends on your right foot. It's same with high torque vehicles. There are plenty of advantages! For example, I charge for free at work. My round trip commute is 75 miles and I have saved so much money in fuel cost that 80% of my EV cost pays for itself. If you don't own an EV, you have no place talking about one. I've owned many ICE vehicles in my lifetime, and it only took owning 1 EV to convert me.
@johnh.wilson20817 ай бұрын
@@DOHCtor But you said they require NO MAINTENANCE. After 8-10 years are you going replace that battery or junk the car? How much does the insurance cost on that EV? Experience isn't the only teacher, you can learn by simple observations. It took me watching a few videos and reading up on EVs to convince me I will never own an EV, even if it was given to me.
@WildPowerSports7 ай бұрын
We have owned 3 different EV's now, never any service. Never "Lubricated the brake calipers". Never any issues. If you live where you cant charge at home, best to not buy an EV. With the nissan leaf and other afordable (Although not as fun) EV's out there, they are available to all income ranges at this point.
@WildPowerSports7 ай бұрын
Correct on battery replacement. But, if you make a spreadsheet of all the maintenance costs of a gas car over 10 years, the battery will cost less. Trust me, we made the spreadsheet.
@sslazer7 ай бұрын
The problem isn’t whether EV or ICE is better, the problem is our corrupt politicians forcing you to choose EV while conspiring to eliminate gas vehicles.

@MsAjax4097 ай бұрын
Not true. I drive my Tesla Model Y on long road trips often. I much prefer it to taking an ICE car. I can do the 1750 mile trip from Chicago to Phoenix in my Tesla with Autopilot with just one stopover at a hotel where I used to have to make two stopovers driving my ICEV, and I pay less to make the trip as well.

"Make sence for charging at home and driving around town". Which is 95% of the driving most of us do. Not sure of your point?

Ask EV owners where electricity comes from, they will hesitate for five long seconds and say 'electricity?'. Then when you tell them most electricity comes from fossil fuels their eyebrows will go up and they will say 'ohhhhhh...'. It is at that point reality starts to sink in.
@MsAjax4097 ай бұрын
Not entirely true. It depends on where you drive. It may be true in West Virginia, but not Washington state. Half of Illinois's electricity is produce from nuclear. I charge my Tesla from solar panels on my roof. The grid is getting cleaner while gasoline isn't.
@bigmacdaddy12347 ай бұрын
@@MsAjax409 Illinois is creating even bigger problems with their nuclear technology. It cost billions to start up, nuclear waste is deadly (and lasts seemingly forever) and when it fails - it fails in a lethal way. Fukushima nuclear disaster (2011), the Chernobyl disaster (1986), the Three Mile Island accident (1979), and the SL-1 accident (1961) to name a few. And finally, because the state of our education system is at an all time low, the future graduates will be a bunch of dopes who won't have the raw cranial brainpower to manage this complex dangerous technology. We really need to put in place something our future generation can actually handle.

I didnt think we were talking about the enviorment...we are talking about the cars performance and costs. However, that said, much of the electric here in Colorado is wind.

So when the temperature drops to -5 or so, how long does it take for an EV to charge at a charging station as opposed to the time it takes an ICE vehicle to fill up its tank?
@lenm28577 ай бұрын
Around 30 minutes, but only if you are doing more than a few hundred miles a day. Most charge at their house where it is cheaper and they are asleep at the time. In those cases they save a lot of time and money by never stopping at a gas station.
@MsAjax4097 ай бұрын
Tesla EV precondition the battery prior to arriving at a charging station so it warm and able to take charge at the normal rate no matter what the ambient temperature is.
@WildPowerSports6 ай бұрын
The thing is, this doesnt matter to most. You charge at home while you sleep or at work. If your only way to charge is a charging station, not sure we would recommend an EV.
@bearchow19297 ай бұрын
Fast and quick are two different things. I have a standing challenge: I'll pay any EV owner $1000 if they can beat my clapped out 2013 Mustang 5.0 in a race from Phoenix to El Paso and back. Just to sweeten the pot, I'll put the Mustang on a trailer and we'll tow it behind our 2016 1 ton Duramax.
