Cordless tool batteries are very expensive, on a per-watt-hour basis, compared to 2nd life LiFePO4 batteries. What you're doing is fun and interesting, but it's also inefficient and expensive, by comparison. You don't need all that extra stuff...just a used LFP battery and an inline fuse. As a bonus, LFP is capable of more charge cycles than the NMC cells in that tool battery.

They look pretty. Thats about it. Back in 98 i bought a k1500 truck from the dealer brand new. 75 miles later fuel injectors were replaced due to engine constantly stumbling. At 400 miles, ac compressor was replaced. Two weeks later, engine was stumbling again. Something was done to reprogram my ecu, engine burned more gasoline. At 700 miles, my fuse kept blowing which controlled allmy interior lights. I took it back and forth to the dealer, they could not figure out why my fuse kept blowing. At night, a drunk driver slammed into my truck parked in my driveway and totaled it. Insurance adjuster came out the same day and scrapped the truck. Gave me a check for 23k. I was so happy. Went and bought a tacoma. Instill have my tacoma to this day in 2024. When my k1500 truck was totaled, it had 68k miles on the odometer. I dont miss it.
