Exactly. I was sure of what the Bible taught bf I was introduced to false doctrine. That made me so unsure that it took me 10 years after that to get established in sound doctrine.

Thank you Jesus for your mercy and for the preaching of Oliver Greene that we can still hear today. I asked Jesus to be my personal savior at age 12 in the midst of a lot of family turmoil, including the trauma of my mother's death from domestic violence when I was 7. Thankfully her brother was a Christian and helped me understand. He became my legal guardian at age 12. He gave me a little nudge to get me to respond the altar call on a Sunday night in 1982, but I truly wanted to be a Christian. Since then I have strayed many times and lived in ways I knew I shouldn't. Over time I began to realize just how sinful my heart is even in thoughts and attitudes. I struggle but I am thankful that God doesn't kick us out of his family. He spanks us but we always belong to him. I pray often for the lost to trust Jesus as their savior.
