I had the pleasure of speaking with Pastor Younce over the phone as I called him to thank him so much for helping me understand Salvation that is through the Blood of Jesus as well as the death, burial and resurrection. This was about seven years ago. He is a wonderful man and his wife was so nice as well for she picked up the phone first. I sure wish everyone could listen to his teachings of the word of GOD! May one show me one person in the old testament that was born again? Or anyone who was sealed with the Spirit as in Ephesians 1:13 and 4:30. Also the church is called the bride of Christ in the new testament...where exactly does it say that in the old? Just saying, things that are different are not the same.

Let me ask you a simple question. When Jesus spoke to Nicodemus in John chapter 3 was he under the law or under grace? Was the Old Testament law still in force? The answer is quite plain that Jesus was telling a man still under the Old Covenant that he needed to be born again. The new birth was ALWAYS necessary. No person has ever been saved or born again except by grace through faith all the way back to Adam and Eve. No person has ever been saved by obeying their conscience as some teach and certainly no person on earth has ever perfectly kept God's law for salvation. The Bible repeatedly makes that clear. The doctrines of salvation including justification by faith, being born again, and the imputed righteousness of Christ are taken DIRECTLY from the Old Testament. Carefully read and cross reference Romans 4. If you don't see people getting born again in the Old Testament you have closed your mind to it.
