Steam was before my time in regular service, but I had seen old pictures in the old shops and roundhouse of steam locomotive boiler explosions resulting in low water where the locomotive exploding its boiler and parts for miles around.

My dad used to have a red Mk2 Ford Escort 2dr. Used to pick and take me to school and everywhere. Wish we still kept it. Anyway this car isn’t worth that much and whoever brought it may regret it later. Sometimes you can become obsessed and lose the sight of thinking straight. Is that the new car then a little upgrade from the Corsa 😂😂😂 Went for more that I thought my friend got a one that’s in mint condition, in black it’s only comes out on nice days and is in a heated garage for the years. It was full restored by him, full re spray everything is cleaned polished inside and out before it goes away, in his words you sat in it you clean it you went for a drive in it you chip in for some petrol. Or a coffee. It goes very well………. I did Cadwell Park with him in it. Iv never felt so ill after going in a car.

Hi ya, nice info, my zafira b has oil seepage from rocker cover in same areas but not bolts, I've applied similar sealant all the way across where the cover joins to the head, you think this will work save me changing rocker gasket? I've had no oil loss at all, dipstick always on max, so must be very minor leak, also bits of oil in one plug well, I mean a tiny bit, you think I can just leave for now or change gasket? Thanks a lot.

Well, hopefully you've just saved me somewhere between 60 and 150 quid. Was going to get a new charger or battery, but after watching this, checked the 10 fuse and it was burned out. Replaced for pennies and battery now charging. :-)

Just exposed mine on my Discovery 4. When you start strippingh it properly it'll be more than a spot of filler. Mine was in better shape than yours and now mine is cleaned up it needs a couple of plates welded in at least. I suppose it depends how long you're keeping the car?
