I mostly build system moc so I can't comment on the design. But I would like to say I like to see the mixture of modern technic and the old studded technic parts.

@ Could it be modded to fit the steering motor into the axle? The servo takes space from the chassis itself when located into the car.
@Brickliest6 күн бұрын
It's possible, and it's easy to do. I could make a video sometime where I attach the motors to the axles, but right now I have a few other videos coming up, so I might not get to it right away. Thanks for the video idea, though!

What I am the most confused with all the videos making lego torsen diff is how it works under continous driving. How does it work if i chose to drive in circles? Does it lock up or odes it contiunue to work like normal diff? What happens when one wheel loses traction and it locks up, does it unlock itself after regaining traction or not?
@Brickliest6 күн бұрын
I've noticed that the LEGO Torsen differential is pretty bad-it tends to "jam" when more force is applied to one side, and then both wheels spin at the same speed. The differential featured in my video is an old invention, and I didn't come up with it myself. I thought I’d make a video about it anyway, even though I knew it wasn’t very good. I've realized it's pretty bad, and it easily jams. You're right. It may not even be possible to create a differential that fits into such a small space and is even remotely reasonable and functional. This one is the closest to that, even though it's still quite bad.

Your suspension has to pivot on 2 axis on the body and the axle itself. Having your suspension not on ball-joints is limiting your range of motion.

Keep up the good work! You can also use Technic, Liftarm, Modified Fork 2 x 2 with Axle Holes (72008). I cover a few options here as well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6fRaK2AicSZsNk

To retain more viewers you could, instead of explaining that you will first show a regular diff, then a torsen, just assemble the regular diff, and, as you did, show what it does. Then you could explain what the downsides of it are and explain why the torsen is better whilst building it.

Please do not by electronics from temu, maybe ones that are less complex like these ones with motor control etc. There is high likely hood that in future, it might do some bad stuff. You can prove me wrong though.
