Please dont tell me there is a swivel from braid too main line. Hurts me everytime i hear it go through the eye lids. I use a blood knot personally

Obviously, what you are doing works. But to make it run best with four hooks cut the middle wire out. It runs perfectly then.

wth are you yapping about? this makes it so much more UNREALISTIC, you are putting more tackle for the fish to see. Drop shot is a good way to keep the bait off the bottom and works when you actually hide the tackle. Yes people do this but usually beginners. So make sure your tips are actually factual. PS if you have a live scope and still trying to tweak everything cause you can’t catch fish then there is no hope for you buddy.

We will fish from 12 to 35 feet. Jigging or still fishing and it doesn't matter until someone in a pontoon boat anchors up and then every kokanee moves under their boat.
@fisher6924
@fisher6924 6 ай бұрын
Fish can see the boat or feel it's presence in 50ft and probably more. But depending on how common boats are in the area, they just don't care most of the times.

How/where do you fish those types of baits? I usually go with a swimbait about that size and I’m wondering what the advantages of these types of minnows are
@jaydensymonds
@jaydensymonds 6 ай бұрын
Great question! I use it in all offshore applications from 5 ft down to 40 feet. I cast it and slowly reel, the subtle wobble action of it seems to trigger more fish than a swim bait for me. I also hang it directly under the boat not moving it for deeper fish

Question regarding guiding & ice shack renting. Here in Ontario, what is required to become a guide ? Licences ? Permits ? Etc…..kinda same question with the ice shack rentals. Do they allow ice shack rentals on just any lake ? Or are permits etc given out on certain lakes depending on the fishery itself & it’s sustainably for fishing pressure ? I’ve noticed some lakes have outfitters renting shacks & other lakes do not. I’m past the “prime” age to start guiding but it’s always been an interest of mine growing up. Thanks for the podcast, great job !

Just started fishing during trips to Cuba too, chat with locals during sun rise/set, often fishing off the side of the road, or there is a local fishing spot right at that "toll stop" to get into Varadero (bring spare mono/fluro 20-30lbs line to give them(hard to get there)). First fish you got was a Mutton Snapper. tight lines!
