Sadly most of us In the USA can't go to Canada if you have priers in the US. Last time and only time I got to fish for perch was when I was on a job on Lake Erie doing a water treatment install at Davis Bessie Nuclear Facility right after 911 happened. I got my limit and even had a Fish Ohio for biggest perch. Took them to a cleaning house and they cleaned and froze them for me and I carried them back to Missouri on dry ice. Gotta say that was some of the best eating fish I've ever had!! They were sweet tasting just like a bluegill that we catch here.

Please dont tell me there is a swivel from braid too main line. Hurts me everytime i hear it go through the eye lids. I use a blood knot personally

@northwestoutfitters Ok. Maybe I missed something. I was just curious. I thought there was at least one that was let go after your story, then a measurement. Seems long, but again, I must have misjudged. Good video. I'm down in the Midwest and have to resort to watching videos for now. Can't wait to get out if and when there will be good ice.

The bigger one might have been a little longer for the measurement and everything but it’s not much of a concern inside a warm shack - only outside where their eyes can freeze pretty quickly. Glad you enjoyed the video and hope you can get out soon!
