There are a lot of great tricks out there. Triumph is arguably the best. And this is the best Triumph by far. The fact that P/T know exactly what KK is doing and can't catch him is ridiculous. This is a million dollar performance.

Seems like he just practiced this a million times. He grabbed about 4 or 5 cards but the biggest clue was that he asked BEFORE he grabbed that group of cards to know which one was the right one.

@@arisoninc yeah there was no need to do that. Was trying to make P&T think it was a memorized deck. But I never have the person name their card usually. Thanks for watching!

He didn't reach in and catch one card. He caught five. Notice how he got a look at all five before he extracted the king? This proves he got a peek loading it into the deck.

The big question for me is, why are good customer service people treated poorly? I spent 12+ years in customer service, and I was good at my job, but was treated horribly by customers and management, but showed up anyway until I just couldn't take it anymore.
@KostyaKimlat

@@jasonlilly9704 my hypothesis would be that people take on a “role” as a customer and they act and say things they otherwise wouldn’t. It takes self awareness for a “customer” to treat the “service person” as a fellow human being.

The fact that he grabbed multiple while also hearing the card before hand, I think he just actually did it.

I hear a lot of commentary over the moment that the trick happened. He's dealing seconds into his palm to separate the deck into face up and face down, when he picks the cards up from the casino wash. There's only one way it really can be done, you have to look through every card and separate them. The thing was he did it while they were picking their cards, by the time they were inserted into the deck, there is only ONE cut needed to put all of the cards into the right spots. Which is the only possible way he could do it that quickly, he had already ruffled through every single card and sorted it out. What is so incredibly magical about that is to be able to do so much sleight of hand so quickly, that it looks completely natural right in front of their eyes. When Penn gets upset, it's not because he missed it in that moment, it's because the trick was already over and he hadn't seen a thing.

The only thing I can think of is that he's shifting the cards into two piles on the bottom of the deck when hes going though them and letting Penn put his card in near the top. You can see him flip the bottom half of the deck after he gets both cards back from them and he's about to spread them out. But the speed and control is crazy.

What a risk! I saw your "prep' videos, where you say you worked up to a 65-70% success ratio - and I saw about a thrid of those you managed a single card pick. It was a great trick - but just that little bit of regret that you didn't manage the single card pick on the night of the show.

Kostya mentioned in his other video that it was "basically" a roadrunner shuffle. Basically at that last part when he was going through the deck to "show" Penn and Teller that the deck is shuffled, he's actually sorting the cards into two piles in his right hand behind. The final part when he obviously "split and turn" half of the deck over is a bit of a cheeky play to Penn and Teller saying "Ah ha! You already missed the trick!"

See, this is very impressive. It’s funny cause I commented on your other video yesterday and I’m sure you weren’t thrilled with the comment. Cause I just didn’t find it impressive and I didn’t think you performed it the way you wanted it to go. I really think you messed it up. I feel like you know you messed it up. I feel like Penn & Teller know you messed it up and they covered for you. It was just baffling to me. Maybe I’m wrong. Anyways I think you’re a great performer and magician. Great trick.

Penn knew how it was done. He even said some something when Kosta says, i dindnt handle the cards, thats when he flipped the face up cards with the face down cards. Hes separating them as penn and teller puts their cards back in the deck. Notice how even after the cards are back in the deck, he has to continue scrolling though the deck to the very end. Hes still separating them, does a quick flip before he puts the cards back on the table. Penn saw it and still gave his buddy the trophy.
