We really wanted to share the process with you this time. Every word and action of the performance was carefully selected. I was hoping to misdirect Penn & Teller's thinking and fool them again, but I picked this effect knowing that if the method was revealed, it would only bring more respect to the art of magic. I hope I succeeded in that. Thanks for watching!

I'm guessing that the original intention is to catch just one card. If you had done that you would have fooled them most probably. You did great anyway, I admire your passion and dedication very much!

Dude, your performance was one of the greatest performances on fool us I have ever seen. Well done sir....I think the fact that you didn’t fool them makes it even more respectable. Great job Koysta

Sam Moerbe The thing about kostya is the trick doesnt look flashy, but the amount of practice and time it takes to actually perform these tricks is what separates him from everyone. These tricks are pure skill and preparation which is insane to do in front of a live audience because you know hes human, even kostya is going to not perform this 100% of the time.

One of the very few tricks that becomes more impressive -- far more impressive -- when you know how it's done. Would you *actually* have wanted to know the result beforehand?

Fool them or not, I think it was the right call to change the script the way you did. It absolutely fit in with the show and had me on the edge of my seat! Amazing performance!

Your skill just blows me away. I had a scenario in my mind when you had Penn & Teller on stage with you. I thought you were going to have them pick a card, and then, when you told them you were going to snatch the card out of the deck, and then hand the deck to Teller and have HIM do the waterfall with the cards. And after judging the speed at which he was riffling them, you were going be successful at grabbing the correct card. Yeah, I think you are that good.

Completely agree. The moment Penn said that, my thought was "Damn, I really wish I wouldn't have said that in the intro." Totally kicked myself. I should have created a lie, I should have told her this is something I just made up to fool them. Alas! :)

I think the outcome ends up basically the same either way, it's just that one way ends trophyless. What you did is unprecedented. Best to just start brewing up your third miracle!

@@KostyaKimlat truth is.. you wanted to tell them hence the clues. I think you say it in this video as well, you wanted to say it. It being said by Penn and Teller I imagine was validating, to an extent, and acknowledgement to some degree? Amazing, was great to watch it with my daughters for the first time today. She is six and she said, I want to this skill. Maybe a curiosity to this has been hatched. Thank you.

You reversed psychology'd them too hard. Pointing out that there are other methods immediately gave me the idea you were not gonna use any of them. (Well that's kind of weird to say since I knew you were not gonna use any of them.) I think to win this you should've not named any other methods. I think that would've been the winning play. But I don't care, I think Penn's reaction now was better than winning. We all love to see them be appreciative of how good you are.

It was such a joyful performance to watch! I saw in some of your practice footage that you sometimes catch the selected card by itself, and sometimes get a hand of cards. Is that just part of the randomness of the trick, or can you control how many you catch?

Harry Houdini 973 I certainly hope he corrects me if I'm mistaken but as penn and teller put their cards back in the mixed deck, hes sorting them into piles as he sifts through them. Thats why he has to go to the end of the deck even after the 2nd card was put in. He then does the slick shuffle where he flips the face up cards to then match all the other ones except for Penn and tellers as he was able to leave them how he needed. Just pure, PURE card skill.

I feel like if you could have grabbed less cards you would have fooled them. You've probably done this where you grab 3 cards and it's amazing buy nerves kick in. We are only human after all. I've done the same dribble and grabbed 30 cards. The audience yawns

Derren Brown type double bluff plot twist: You actually tell Penn and Teller possible gimmick methods to lead them down to the route of thinking you used extremely difficult sleight of hand while in fact you are really using simple gimmick and Penn and Teller's explanations to fool all the other spectators and KZbin viewers that you used real skills, gaining respect from spectators and clients for doing the real thing, even this video is part of the bluff. Basically, you pretend to lie to Penn and Teller for using something more than gimmick which makes them think you are only using sleight of hand, which is exactly how you want them to react, while you're only using a simple gimmick and pretending to be using real skills. Okay, enough over-thinking from me, just kidding. From your previous card works, I am certain that you have more than enough sleight of hand for this effect. Great job!
