@jessl1934 logical fallacies committed by @jessl1934: 1. **Strawman Fallacy**: This is when someone misrepresents another's argument to make it easier to attack. In this case, @jessl1934 creates a caricature of anarchists' beliefs, arguing against this distorted representation rather than addressing the actual views held by anarchists. 2. **False Dilemma Fallacy**: This fallacy involves presenting only two options or outcomes when in fact there are more. @jessl1934 does this by suggesting that @Krantzstone can only have one of three stances on the Mennonite genocide, ignoring the possibility of other nuanced views or stances. 3. **Red Herring Fallacy**: This is when someone introduces irrelevant information into an argument in order to distract from the topic at hand. @jessl1934 brings up the genocide against Bön, which is not relevant to the discussion about anarchists and their beliefs. 4. **Ad Hominem Fallacy**: This fallacy involves attacking a person's character or personal traits instead of engaging with their argument. @jessl1934 does this by questioning @Krantzstone's understanding of logic, rather than addressing the points they made. 5. **Appeal to Authority Fallacy**: This fallacy occurs when someone uses the opinion of an authority figure or institution in place of an actual argument. @jessl1934 appeals to the concept of a "thought experiment" to lend credibility to their arguments, but they misuse the concept and fail to provide a valid thought experiment. 6. **Argument from Fallacy**: This is the assumption that because a claim has been poorly argued, or a fallacy has been made, the claim itself must be wrong. @jessl1934 commits this fallacy by assuming that because a fallacy has been committed, the conclusion must be false.

^Was in response to a tankie in the comments who clearly felt personally attacked by this song. *smh* The reality, as stated in the description of the video, is that the song was actually based on a data-driven analysis of "tankie" ideology, and wasn't actually directed at anyone in particular, except genocide denialists. But anyone who responds to such a song, not by addressing any substantive points made in the song itself, but by bringing up alleged "anarchist" crimes, is engaging in whataboutism, a favourite go-to of Soviet apologists and propagandists during the existence of the USSR, and latter day post-Soviet tankies. I originally left Jess' comments up because even though they were bizarrely trying to attack me personally with ad hominem personal attacks and straw arguments despite not knowing me at all, because I'm an anarchist, I have a healthy disdain for those who fancy themselves 'anarchist' yet engage in their own forms of cheerleading war crimes or engage in genocide denial. But Jess L decided that their definition of 'praxis' is apparently to stalk an anarchist KZbin account with less than 50 subscribers and obsessively harangue me for no apparent reason than to get their dopamine fix trying to pick fights with anarchists online, which I personally don't find conducive to building a mass movement of global working class solidarity, but maybe that's just me. So much for 'left unity'. Anyway, I had to get 'authoritarian' and hide the user from my channel because no one needs to read 10 longwinded meanderings of logical fallacies from some tankie with an axe to grind.

Received a free cassette of the Red Earth Album from my college radio station around 1990ish, they gave it to me write a review for the college paper. Loved the album and the band but they never caught on here in the States that I could tell.
