Gloves and rotating equipment? What a wonderful way to get your fingers torn off....(sarcasm). Don't do it. Having been in the medical field I've seen what gloves and rotating equipment can do to your body. If there is one rule by the safety Id10ts to disregard that's it. I'd rather have a few tiny cuts from the tips of the wire than have my fingers twisted off. Look it up. Glove injuries are gruesome.

This is such a joke, not only is it slow as fuck, but you have to carry those stupid ties with you, tying by hand is probably 3 times as fast, or spend the money on an actual rebar tier

This tool you have to be careful how you use it. The problem you face is in the twist. The wire twist is so tight it shears off and the twist follows an upward motion leaving the rebars loose. Either way you do a twist the point to turn and pull.

Never buy this, just learn to bust rod, within a few weeks you'll out tie this thing at least 2 maybe 3 to 1. A pair good pliers is far cheaper
