i tried out hard surface sculpting recently and holy crap it is genuinely so good. Its so fun to just accidentally find shapes that are cool. I will never understand how some people design exclusively with modeling.

Man this was incredible to watch. I've been on the fence about buying Nvil. Tried it a few times long ago, and liked it, but I was sure Poly was the best approach foe hard surface for me. You just convinced me. 😊😊 Thanks for an awesome tutorial. What UI are you using and are the matcaps you used default?

Hello Luka! Your timelapse videos are very good! I recently started using ZBrush, and I have a few questions. The first one is: do you use a divided model for the base figure, or DynaMesh at high resolution? After that, I understand that you mask and extrude, and the new material is probably in DynaMesh... I tried to sculpt my material in DynaMesh after extrusion, but it kept breaking apart, unfortunately. 😅

This stuff is awesome man. I would love to be able to do this. Did you have any skill modeling prior? I have mostly experience in zbrush and was wondering if this is something that could be learrned with Blender. I know they dont have quad draw in base blender but I would love to know how long it took you to get up to speed with Nvil and poly modeling and if you have any tips or resources you could sharre to get efficient with modeling

Brilliant. I believe you should also try playing with different tones for the jaw. The blue seems a bit dominant making it look like 1 piece which its not. Just a thought.
