Interesting! I agree with a lot of what you said, and this is coming from someone that has been using Crossropes since 2013. Definitely have had issues in my forearms but I definitely feel it in my upper back and shoulders as well. They have those Amp handles now that count the jumps with nearly perfect accuracy and can guide/build workouts, set benchmarks, track your jumps, and I can imagine with the direction AI is heading, they are probably the only jump rope company that is well positioned to capitalize on that since they already have tech and a huge market share. With regard to the ads contributing to too much overhead, driving the cost of the rope up: I don’t think the ads affect the price too much. Their ropes are very high quality and have been expensive since 2013 before all the ads. For sizing, I am 6’2 and use a medium with a knot in it. I just tie knots in my rope until it’s a reasonable fit. It doesn’t affect my tricks at all. Also using a rope that isn’t sized quite right can target different muscle groups so I kind of like it sometimes (this goes for any rope). Ultimately, I pay for the quality and the community since the jump rope fitness community is amazing and run by cross rope. But the app and the AMP handles are a game changer. Would love to see you review that and do some benchmarks. Also….lets race! Haha all the best.

Thank you for your experienced opinion. I think it's really awesome what they are doing with the Amp rope and the app, I love the innovations they are coming up with. Having the leader board is really cool and definitely can inspire to jump more. Thanks for the comment 🙏🫡💪‼️

@dpiercyjumps they can be really helpful doing transitions from different jumprope moves. For example, going from double unders to crossovers.

I got the Flow Rope but think it's a little light for me. The Storm Rope is listed on the site as being .35 lb. Is it noticeably heavier than the 1/4 lb weighted rope?
@Du74993 ай бұрын
@Maloha486 The storm rope is heavier than the flow rope and lighter than the 1/4 rope. It is definitely lighter than the 1/4 rope, maybe it's listed as .35 lb including the handle weight.

Hererope does have steel cable inside the PVC. You need wirecutters to cut it shorter. Maybe older ones didn’t but mine is new as of July 2024. Just cut it today and it is 2mm twisted steel inside.

Traverse City, Michigan? It’s beautiful out there, though they get crushed in the winter. I’ve not been jumping the last 2 weeks as I hurt my knee. Hoping to start again this week.

@dpiercyjumps yes it's great up here. Hope you recover soon. Best thing to do is take some rest and focus on exercises that don't aggravate it. Maybe swim some laps or focus on upper body wieght lifting?

You jump great! Would you reommend that weight of rope for beginners, or should I go for the 1/4 pound rope?
@Du74994 ай бұрын
Thanks! For a beginner, a 1/2 lb is very heavy. I would recommend a 1/4 lb or less. You might want to start with a standard rope like HereRope flow rope.
