He doesn’t always do that attack if you stay back he does the fake out explosion that turns to destined death so make sure you’re close to him

@@Paranormallynormal the opener is also really only consistent if it's first try on the boss, dying messes up his intro. This Strat was for a no hit run, so we're not really dying haha.

I killed him 1st attempt.with no guide jst use duo twinblade both with seppuku i used mimic to take aggro p1 was seconds p2 lasted about a minute as I was just spamming jump L1 attack

January 2025 I confirm that it no longer works. As I said, it is quite laborious to bring it to the edge of the cliff and on top of that, every time it is really close to the edge it gets out of phase and automatically returns to its initial position.

the lack of precision even with the aim makes the task extremely painful. this game is definitely masterful but above all masterfully annoying and singing... the problem is that it would take a really raised point to be precise enough, because if the blade falls a little far the horse does not react. I'm still not on my fifth try, it's really very annoying.

A lot of strength weapons work in this fashion haha. Charge R2 and stun is generally the method used. Not all of them are that capable tho haha.

I Couldn’t do it got spot first try and he lost interest, I said screw it and decided to attack and died a couple times but got it in the fourth attempt but he been stuck on this guy for so long.

Realistically, videos over 2 seconds in. Clergyman runs straight to you and double swipes you instead of sitting there and waiting for you to buff 😂

He does this if you just entered the fight without dying, if you stand at that specific spot. This is for a no hit run, so yes, it's realistic.

There's some at the very beginning of the game in limgrave, on the way to get torrent. There's some behind the dragon that has the academy key. There's also a vendor in the weeping peninsula.

The best way to beat him is having 60+ vitality and 50 strenght and use the blasphemous blade to attack from distance on phase 2. Block a lot as well...

@@bobdole991 the weapon is definitely S tier, but the stagger build up was coming from the flames of redmanes ash of war (Which got nerfed)

Nah man screw that. Just get bloodhound fang and mimic tear and beat his ass lol. Attacks are pretty easy to dodge. Cause they are super slow.

Finally, a guide that isn’t like “do a glitch to get 100 meters above the arena, then summon your mimic tear and use a glitch using comet azur to one-shot him. Easy!”. This is actually usable! Ty💜

Unfortunately the Strat got nerfed. The redmanes flame no longer builds stagger like this anymore, but you can still stun him easily with charged r2s from the serpent hunter very easily.

Didn’t even need all that, beat him twice now, once with blasphemous blade and the second with Tiche. And in the fight with Tiche I only hit it twice and probably didn’t even need to.
