No wrap. Yep JUICE instead of ACV Yep. Can't understand why people use vinegar. eccch. Fire management. Right on. Water pan. Uneccessary IMO. Drip pan. Absolutlely. Well done. What did you use for your insulation ? $2000-3000 smokers such a waste.

I know this probably wouldn't get read but does anyone have an idea why the batter isn't sticking onto the fish? I'm using Alaskan cod. It's my second time now and I've read it might be the oil isn't hot enough or the fish has too much moisture. I want to get this recipe down and so if anyone has suggestions, please lemme know
@CookingwithKirby11 күн бұрын
Sounds like the fish maybe too moist, pat it dry with a paper towel. Oil temp desire is 325 to 350 before you put the fish into fry.

@@CookingwithKirby Didn't think I'd get a reply to a four year old video but thank you. I don't have a thermometer that reads that high yet so I'll keep the heat on fill blast next time. Thank you man 🫡

It looks great! I also put butter under the skin and herbs inside the bird. When it's done, I let it rest for 10 min. before serving.

Have you seasoned your griddle? If not, you'll need to season your griddle to prevent food from sticking to it.
