Springboro is steadily rising to overtake Oakwood for the number one spot. It’s located in both the Dayton and Cincinnati metropolitan statistical areas because it’s located in both Montgomery and Warren Counties. When real estate iBuyers like Zillow were giving offers to the Cincinnati metro area homes, Springboro was included so prices there have been skyrocketing from Dayton area prices closer towards Cincinnati suburb prices even though it feels more like a Dayton suburb due to the proximity. This city is conveniently located with two access points along I-75 so it’s located within 30 minutes of Dayton and 40 minutes of Cincinnati. It’s perfect to commute to jobs in both areas.

Thanks for sharing! I absolutely love the Springboro area and have friends and family who have lived there. I had not considered it to be in the Dayton area, but you are correct - it is being considered part of the Dayton area more recently and is a quick drive straight down I-75! Thanks again for the info.

There is even a calendar of events. My sister lives in Fairborn and is happy with all the city has to offer.

I'm very familiar with Miamisburg. I have a relative who lives there and loves it. That is another good place to live in the Dayton area.

So I guess best advice is to take notes and not talk to the realtor while on the property. :)

Yes, good idea. Take notes and do not discuss any finances or strong emotions (good or bad) while at the property.

L💙ve the color of that front door!! usually when people flip a house they use basic, boring colors. This door would definitely make me want to 👁👁 inside!

hypothetical question: if I have a home security system and somebody breaks in, would that mean a recording of the burglar would not be allowed as "evidence" because it was illegally obtained ... that seems dumb

Hi Tom. I believe the laws are different regarding a security system to monitor for break ins as opposed to recording potential buyers without their knowledge at an open house or if they are viewing a home with their Realtor. You would have to check with an attorney in your state for the answer to that. Let me know what you find out if you do contact an attorney and in what state that applies. Thanks.
