The raw, sexual energy in this comercial is unbearable.

LoL, I actually found this ad in a magazine in the 1980s drew the sketch a representative came to our house for the school and signed me up for art classes. I drew assignments and mailed them in weekly until my mother said we could not afford them anymore. It was fun tho Still drawing today!

I lived in the country and we didn’t have cable. I remember hearing this song playing at about 2-3:00 am as a kid. The nastslgia rushed back to me when I finally found this commercial today. I remember the purple car painting and was looking up on Google and could never find it. Now I see it was a art institute commercial!!

I don't remember this one.. I remember one where he say something like "do you like to draw? Or just sketch and doodle?" I sent so many of these in as a kid.. never heard anything back. Lol. I guess their experts decided that I sucked.😂

I graduated Art Instruction School 2006. It was fun. I took art classes as much as I could all through my school year's so my favorite teacher and friend in High school was my art teacher.

This school sucked a$$ like anything. I lost so much money on them. I am so happy that they went out of business.

Nostalgic. I remember that funny little "art test", too. 😁😅😅
@Ds-iv2tz2 жыл бұрын
I took this test back in 2001 and scored a 98% on my test. I just recently found out from an art teacher that they were paid by Disney and Pixar to scout for new artists back then. I wished I would have took the art classes

This crushed my dreams of ever being an artist. Long story short, I took the test and got the results back saying I was good but because of my age they couldn't accept me. Before then, all I wanted to do was draw and be an artist one day but being rejected at that age really discouraged from ever drawing again. Honestly, f*ck this school and glad they closed down. Thanks for crushing my childhood dreams.

I remember this. Crushed my hopes dreams of being an artist. I was 13 years old. I took the test and scored a 98 percent. A guy came out to recruit me. I was so happy. He then took a bunch of my other artwork told me and my mom i would be the next person to draw the peanuts cartoon. Better known as charlie brown. He left us a phone number and it turned out to be a fake. I never had interest in art again after that day. It was a horrible and traumatizing experience for a young child. It ruined my self esteem and changed the way i thought about life. Whoever that guy was its a good thing the school closed.

Ferocious market, probably. The internet, artists who teach classes themselves, online, or in person, etc. And much of the advertising industry is now computerized. I don't know, but commercial art is a different business today. They taught a lot of that, lettering, etc. I took the course and enjoyed it. But the commercial art wasn't what I was interested in. It was a good course, though.
