I remember these commercials from my early childhood. I believe they played this commercial throughout the '80s. I'll never forget the music. It was so soothing; I loved it! Thanks for the upload!

Ferocious market, probably. The internet, artists who teach classes themselves, online, or in person, etc. And much of the advertising industry is now computerized. I don't know, but commercial art is a different business today. They taught a lot of that, lettering, etc. I took the course and enjoyed it. But the commercial art wasn't what I was interested in. It was a good course, though.

Wow...FINALLY found it! This is the one I remember...just without the blackout and web addy at the end, of course. But that song is LEGENDARY, and I used to hum it, too.

I don't remember if I phoned in or if I filled out a magazine mail-in card to receive the test pamphlet. I drew the pirate :) I was maybe seven or eight.
